Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students learning needs, behavioral challenges, and emotional well-being.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and school staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and intervention strategies.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services to support students mental health and social-emotional development.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to contribute valuable insights and coordinate student support services.
- Facilitate training and workshops for staff on topics related to mental health, behavior management, and student development.
- Maintain accurate and confidential records in compliance with legal and professional standards.
Qualifications:
- Masters or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field.
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting assessments and developing interventions within school settings.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with students, families, and staff.
- Ability and willingness to travel between schools as required.
