Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A rewarding opportunity is available for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist supporting K-12 students in a school setting located in Puyallup, WA. This contract position runs for the current school year, providing a chance to make a meaningful impact on student communication and learning outcomes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and support staff to implement effective interventions that support academic and social success
- Monitor and document student progress in compliance with educational standards and regulations
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches supporting student learning
Qualifications:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP - CCC) required
- Experience delivering speech therapy services in school settings (SLP - School) preferred
- Skilled in strategies designed specifically for K-12 student populations
- Strong communication and organizational skills with the ability to work collaboratively
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to practice Speech-Language Pathology in Washington State
