A contract position is available for a skilled Occupational Therapist in an elementary school setting located in Renton, WA. This role is ideal for professionals experienced in providing therapeutic support within schools, focusing on helping young students overcome challenges that affect their academic performance and daily school activities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and develop individual treatment plans to support students occupational therapy needs.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to integrate strategies that promote student success.
- Utilize specialized techniques to assist children in improving fine motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
- Document progress and maintain compliance with school policies and state regulations.
- Participate in meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid Occupational Therapist license and certification applicable to school settings.
- Proven experience delivering pediatric occupational therapy services within elementary schools.
