Requirements & Qualifications
- Active Occupational Therapy (OT) License required
- Experience working with students in school-based settings
- Knowledge of pediatric occupational therapy practices and interventions
- Ability to conduct comprehensive occupational therapy evaluations
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
- Strong documentation and report writing skills
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational teams
- Commitment to full-time employment (35 hours per week)
- Availability for immediate start through the remainder of the school year
Responsibilities
- Provide occupational therapy services to students in school-based settings
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and assessments
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and interventions
- Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with school teams
- Support students' fine motor, visual motor, sensory, and functional skills development
- Provide consultation services to teachers and families
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress records
- Work collaboratively within the district to support student success
