Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to provide coverage for a maternity leave from January through the first week of April in an elementary school setting. This contract position requires onsite presence in Fort Worth, TX, working with students in grades K-5.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to approximately 48 students across two elementary campuses, including 40 students at one school and 8 at another.
- Manage a caseload involving a range of speech and language disorders, tailored to K-5 students.
- Coordinate therapy schedules, including two half-days at an additional campus.
- Collaborate with school staff and maintain accurate documentation of student progress.
- Adhere to district policies and educational standards.
- For Candidates with Clinical Fellowship (CF) status: Ensure supervision arrangements are established prior to start date, as the district does not provide supervision.
Qualifications:
- Active State License as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; candidates in Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) must have supervision arranged before beginning.
- Experience working in school settings, preferably with Elementary-aged children.
- Ability to manage multiple sites and a diverse caseload effectively.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
Location: Fort Worth, TX onsite work required at two elementary schools within the district.
