Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position is for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) serving K-12 students in Arlington, TX. The role involves working in a hybrid setting within a public school environment. This contract opportunity spans the current school year, ending on May 29, 2026.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise a Speech-Language Pathology Assistant to support student interventions and therapy.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations of students speech and language abilities.
- Prepare for and actively participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to develop tailored education plans.
- Manage a caseload of approximately 100 students, providing direct SLP services as needed.
- Collaborate with school staff to implement speech and language support aligned with student needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience providing school-based SLP services, preferably in K-12 settings.
- Ability to effectively supervise SLP assistants.
- Strong organizational skills to manage evaluations, re-evaluations, caseload, and IEP participation.
- Excellent communication skills to collaborate with educators, families, and students.
Work Hours:
- 37.5 hours per week, consistent with school calendar.
