Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the current school year with a contract ending June 9, 2026. The role offers the opportunity to support elementary students across two sites, with exact schools to be determined within New Britain, CT. Candidates will provide speech and language services onsite during regular school hours, Monday through Friday from 8:45 AM to 3:45 PM, totaling 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language interventions for students with diverse disabilities in inclusive settings.
- Collaborate with educators and staff to support communication goals.
- Maintain clear, accurate records and progress reports.
- Participate in team meetings and parent conferences as needed.
Qualifications:
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) is required; candidates holding a Clinical Fellowship (CF) are also encouraged to apply.
- Active Connecticut SLP license.
- School-based experience is essential.
- District fingerprinting and background clearance required.
- Ability to manage a caseload with a variety of disabilities within inclusive elementary classrooms.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- No Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) will be accepted for this role.
