A physical therapy position is available for a skilled Physical Therapist to support students from preschool through high school in a K-12 school setting located in Irvine, CA. This contract role covers a maternity leave assignment through the end of the school year, offering a flexible part-time schedule with the potential for full-time hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality physical therapy services to students across a broad age range (preschool to high school).
- Manage a caseload of approximately 35 students, delivering around 20 billable hours per week.
- Collaborate with school staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with school and state regulations.
- Attend relevant meetings and participate in multidisciplinary teams to support student outcomes.
Qualifications:
- Master's degree in Physical Therapy.
- Active California Physical Therapist license.
- Experience in a school-based setting preferred.
- Ability to work on-site with flexibility to accommodate part-time or fuller schedules.
- Strong communication and organizational skills to manage caseload effectively.
