A Physical Therapist is needed to support a K-12 school setting in Santa Ana, CA, providing essential therapy services to students from preschool through high school. This contract opportunity spans from the start date as soon as possible through June 5, 2026, primarily on-site with no remote or hybrid options. The position involves covering a maternity leave and offers flexible scheduling, ideally with 30 or more hours per week, though part-time around 20 hours is also considered.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver physical therapy services to a caseload of approximately 35 students, focusing on those requiring support within preschool to high school age ranges.
- Collaborate with educational staff and other professionals to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions and progress reports.
- Participate actively in meetings and coordinate care as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Follow all state licensure and school policies to ensure compliance and quality care.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Masters Degree in Physical Therapy.
- Active California Physical Therapist License.
- Experience working with pediatric populations in educational settings.
- Ability to manage a flexible schedule based on student needs.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
