Located in Hartford, CT, this opportunity offers full-time, contract positions for licensed school psychologists serving K-12 students across various schools in Bristol. These roles span from elementary to high school settings, providing a diverse and impactful experience supporting students' educational and emotional needs. The assignments begin ASAP and extend through June 16, 2026, with strong potential for renewal due to recent staff vacancies.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for students across multiple age groups (K-12).
- Develop and implement individualized interventions and support plans.
- Collaborate closely with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to foster student success.
- Provide consultation and crisis intervention as needed within assigned schools or programs.
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with district and state requirements.
Positions available include:
- West Bristol School (K-4): 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
- Bristol Eastern High School: 7:15 AM to 2:25 PM, Monday through Friday; one of two psychologists at the high school.
- Destinations Therapeutic Program: 8:00 AM to 2:00 PM, Monday through Friday.
Qualifications:
- Active Connecticut psychologist license.
- Proven experience working within school environments.
- Skilled in conducting comprehensive psychological evaluations.
- Ability to work onsite full-time during specified hours.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
