A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) position is available to provide school-based therapy services within a K-12 public school district in the Woodbridge, VA area. This role requires licensed professionals to deliver support to students across multiple school sites, with flexibility to travel as needed.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services to students, focusing on skill development in school environments
- Deliver makeup sessions to ensure continuity of care throughout the academic year
- Coordinate with educational staff to support individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Manage caseload across various schools, requiring travel between locations within the district
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services and student progress
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current, valid VA Occupational Therapist license (a screenshot of the license is required upon application)
- Previous school-based occupational therapy experience preferred
- Ability to travel to multiple school sites independently (personal reliable transportation necessary; mileage reimbursement not provided)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Experience working with K-12 student populations in educational settings

- Itinerant position based in Alexandria, VA, with service provided across all district school locations
Contract Details:
- Contract duration through the current school year until June 25, 2026
- Full-time schedule averaging 35 hours per week
