A licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) is needed for a full-time, contract position supporting K-12 students within a school setting in the Fairfax, VA area. This role involves providing school-based occupational therapy services on-site and requires traveling to multiple school locations to deliver makeup services. The position begins ASAP and extends through June 25, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students across various school sites, addressing individual therapeutic needs.
- Manage a caseload, providing assessment, intervention, and progress monitoring in compliance with school-based guidelines.
- Coordinate with educators, parents, and school staff to support students functional participation in the educational environment.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation according to regulatory and district standards.
- Travel between schools as required; reliable personal transportation is necessary (mileage reimbursement is not provided).
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid, active Virginia OT license is mandatory (a screenshot of the license must be submitted with the application).
- Experience providing occupational therapy services within school settings is highly preferred.
