Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This contract opportunity is for a licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) to provide school-based services within a K-12 educational setting located in Arlington, VA. The position requires traveling to various school sites to deliver occupational therapy services as needed throughout the school year.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid and active Virginia OT license (submission of license screenshot required)
- Experience working as a school-based Occupational Therapist, preferably in K-12 settings
- Ability to travel independently between multiple school locations (mileage reimbursement not provided)
- Strong organizational and communication skills to manage caseload and collaborate with school staff
- Availability for full-time work (35 hours per week), starting as soon as possible through June 25, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Provide onsite occupational therapy services to students per their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) across multiple school sites
- Coordinate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support student needs
- Maintain accurate documentation in compliance with district and state regulations
- Manage a caseload effectively while traveling between various school locations
