Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A licensed Occupational Therapist is needed for a full-time contract role serving K-12 students in a school district located in Alexandria, VA. This position requires a valid, active Virginia OT license and involves providing onsite occupational therapy services across multiple school sites within the district.
Location & Schedule:
- Based in Alexandria, VA with an itinerant schedule traveling to various schools within the district
- Full-time, 35 hours per week
- Contract duration: Immediate start through June 25, 2026
- Ability to travel independently between schools (note: mileage reimbursement is not provided)
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver makeup occupational therapy services to students across all school locations
- Assess students functional needs and develop appropriate interventions
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other therapists to support student success
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state and district requirements
- Manage a caseload with itinerant service delivery
Desired Qualifications:
