A position is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to support K-12 students in a Rhode Island school setting. This contract role offers hybrid work flexibility with opportunities for both part-time and full-time schedules. The assignment begins as soon as possible and extends through mid-June 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and communication disorders in a school environment
- Develop individualized treatment plans to support student progress
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to foster effective communication strategies
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with state requirements and district policies
- Provide in-person services, with preference for on-site engagement to maximize student impact
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure and certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP - CCC and/or School certification preferred)
- Experience working with pediatric populations, preferably in K-12 educational settings
- Ability to adapt caseload and hours based on school needs
- Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
- Commitment to student-centered care and communication development
