Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A hybrid Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-12 students within a public school setting in Providence, RI. This contract role spans the current school year with a start date as soon as possible and runs through June 16, 2026. Both part-time and full-time schedules will be considered based on candidate availability and caseload needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students kindergarten through 12th grade
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in accordance with state requirements
- Collaborate with school staff, parents, and other professionals to foster student communication development
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports as required
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
Qualifications and Experience:
- Certified Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with the Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred
- Valid state licensure or eligibility to obtain licensure in Rhode Island
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration
- Ability to provide therapy both in-person and through hybrid service models
