A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available in El Paso, TX within a K-12 school setting. This contract position runs through the current school year, ending June 12, 2026, with an immediate start date. Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech-language pathology services to students primarily at the high school level, where there has been no service provision for an entire year.
- Manage a challenging caseload of approximately 64 students, addressing communication disorders and completing necessary IEPs.
- Conduct extensive service catch-up and case management to clean up and update records.
- Optionally, provide services to a K-8 caseload of approximately 40 students who have experienced a service gap of about one month. These assignments may be split between one or two locations depending on selection.
- Work on-site within school locations south and northeast of I-10 in El Paso.
Qualifications:
- Valid state licensure to practice as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred, particularly with K-12 student populations.
- Ability to manage large caseloads and perform detailed administrative tasks such as IEP documentation.
- Flexibility to work full days; part-time considered only if full-day availability is possible.
- Candidates who are bilingual may be preferred, meeting specific communication needs.
