Key Responsibilities: Manage a caseload of up to 55 students, primarily in elementary and middle school grades Provide comprehensive speech therapy services following best practices and individual education plans (IEPs) Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families to support student communication needs Ensure compliance with state licensure requirements and maintain professional documentation Adapt services for assignments at up to two schools, ensuring consistent and impactful intervention
Preferred Qualifications and Experience: Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required; Clinical Fellows (CF) with supervision plan considered Active Virginia licensure in speech-language pathology Experience in school settings preferred but not mandatory; openness to candidates new to school-based practice Interest in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates; submissions welcomed for review Availability to work full-time (37.5 hours weekly); part-time considered with minimum 20 hours per week commitment Willingness to work onsite exclusively, with no remote or hybrid options
