Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This opportunity is for a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide comprehensive services within K-12 school settings in the Fredericksburg, VA area. The role is a full-time contract position for the current school year, with a commitment from ASAP through May 29, 2026. Candidates working at least 20 hours per week will also be considered for part-time placement.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload primarily composed of elementary and middle school students, with caseloads typically around 50 and never exceeding 55. The position requires direct service delivery to support speech and language development, collaborating with educators and families to create individualized plans. Assignments will be capped at working with no more than two schools to ensure quality support and manageable schedules.
Desired qualifications and experience:
- Active Virginia SLP licensure is required
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred; Clinical Fellows (CF) are considered with supervision provided
- Experience working in school settings is preferred but not mandatory; new graduates are encouraged to apply
- Interest in Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) candidates will be taken into consideration
- Ability to work onsite; this is not a remote or hybrid position
