A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available for the current school year in a vibrant K-12 public school setting located in Stafford, VA, part of the Washington DC area. This contract position offers the chance to work onsite exclusively, with no hybrid or remote options.
Responsibilities include managing a caseload of up to 55 students, primarily in elementary and middle school grades. The role may involve working at one or two assigned schools based on best fit, with flexibility and collaboration during the interview process to determine placement. Candidates will deliver speech and language services that support student communication and academic success in a structured school environment.
Qualifications and desired experience:
- Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP) is required
- Active Virginia SLP licensure mandatory
- New graduates with Clinical Fellowship status will be considered, with supervision provided
- Experience in school settings is a plus but not required
- Interest in Speech-Language Pathology Assistants (SLPAs) encouraged; resumes will be reviewed
- Reliable onsite availability throughout assignment, scheduled for full-time 37.5 hours per week; part-time candidates working a minimum of 20 hours weekly may also be considered
