Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available to support students across multiple K-12 schools in the Atlanta area. This on-site role requires a dedicated professional to provide therapeutic services and support to a diverse student population, enhancing their educational experience and promoting their physical and cognitive development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive occupational therapy services to students in grades K-12 across four schools.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student evaluations.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other specialists to support student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school policies.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss student needs and interventions.
Qualifications:
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure is required.
- Previous experience working in school settings preferred.
- Strong understanding of pediatric therapy and K-12 educational environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with students, families, and staff.
- Ability to manage multiple caseloads effectively.
Location:This position is strictly on-site at four schools within the Atlanta area: Hope Hill, Hillside, Springdale Park, and Morningside.
