Master's degree in Occupational Therapy, active Occupational Therapist license and 1+ year of Occupational Therapy experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Occupational Therapist (OT) is needed to provide comprehensive therapy services in a K-12 school setting located in Decatur, GA. This contract position will support multiple schools within the Atlanta area, delivering on-site care exclusively with no remote or hybrid options available. The role begins as soon as possible and extends through May 22, 2026.
Responsibilities include:
- Providing occupational therapy services to students across four assigned schools
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and school staff to develop individualized treatment plans
- Conducting assessments and evaluations to determine student needs
- Documenting progress and maintaining compliance with regulations and district policies
- Participating in team meetings and contributing to student support strategies
Qualifications and experience:
- Active and valid Occupational Therapy licensure
- Experience working within a school-based environment
- Ability to support a full caseload effectively, meeting the unique needs of K-12 students
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Commitment to on-site service delivery at assigned schools
