A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available to provide comprehensive support across multiple K-12 schools in the Atlanta area. This role requires on-site presence, serving four schools with diverse student populations. The assignment offers a collaborative environment where the therapist will implement evidence-based interventions designed to enhance students' functional abilities and support their educational goals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering direct occupational therapy services to students from kindergarten through 12th grade
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and execute individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Conducting evaluations and assessments to determine student needs and monitor progress
- Documenting all therapy sessions and adhering to compliance standards
- Participating in team meetings and providing professional insight to support student success
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Active Occupational Therapist licensure in the state of Georgia
- Experience working within K-12 school settings, preferably with diverse student populations
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to engage effectively with teachers, families, and staff
- Ability to manage a caseload across multiple schools while maintaining detailed documentation
This contract position runs from as soon as possible through May 22, 2026, with full-time hours totaling 35 per week. The role is strictly on-site with no remote or hybrid options. The four schools served include Hope Hill, Hillside, Springdale Park, and Morningside.
