A Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) is needed for a full-time contract position supporting K-12 students in Fort Benning, GA. This assignment runs from January 12th, 2026, through May 21st, 2026, covering the current school year. The SLPA will work collaboratively within the assigned school(s), assisting speech-language pathologists and supporting student communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to students with speech and language needs across 1 to 3 schools, based on district requirements.
- Collaborate effectively with virtual SLPs, ensuring strong communication and reliability.
- Maintain daily logs documenting time and progress for both reporting and timesheet purposes.
- Assist with implementing individualized education program (IEP) goals and therapeutic activities under supervision.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Registered SLPA with the appropriate Speech Board licensure or certification.
- Prior experience in a school setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and dependable work habits.
