Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) opportunity is available at a K-12 school in Lowell, MA, with a start date of January 5, 2026, through February 16, 2026. This contract role requires servicing a PreK caseload of 12 to 15 students, including several higher needs individuals, for two days a week.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Massachusetts certification and licensure in Speech-Language Pathology required
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
- Previous school-based experience working with K-12 students, especially PreK populations
- Ability to manage a diverse caseload that includes higher needs students
- Successful CORI background check and fingerprint clearance
- Comfortable with virtual interview process via Zoom
Responsibilities:
- Deliver speech and language therapy services to a caseload primarily focused on PreK students
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to student needs
- Collaborate with educators, families, and school support staff to promote student communication goals
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and state regulations
- Participate in virtual interviews and onboarding activities as required
