A full-time contract opportunity is available for licensed Speech-Language Pathologists (SLP) specializing in telespeech and teletherapy services within the New Orleans, LA area. This role supports school-aged students in educational settings, delivering virtual speech therapy aligned with the school calendar from Monday through Friday.
Responsibilities include providing teletherapy services that address speech and language disorders, developing individualized treatment plans, tracking progress, and collaborating with educational staff to support student communication goals. The position requires adherence to district protocols, including completion of mandatory HR credentialing forms.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders
- Active Louisiana state licensure and fully licensed in the candidates state of residence
- ASHA certification (CCC-SLP)
- Minimum of three years experience working in Louisiana school settings
- Proficiency in teletherapy delivery methods for speech-language pathology
- Successful completion of a technology screening
- At least one professional reference documenting clinical experience
This position offers a full-time schedule of 35 hours per week, typically 7 hours per day plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch, in line with the academic calendar. Specific caseloads and assigned schools will be determined upon hire, with the anticipated contract ending May 22, 2026.
