Blazer Jobs is currently interviewing skilled and dedicated Speech Language Pathologists (SLPs) for a full-time, school-based contract position in Rockville, Maryland. Requirements:

Must meet all state and local licensure requirements for Speech Language Pathologists in Maryland

Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) from ASHA preferred

School-based or pediatric experience highly preferred

Strong collaboration and communication skills with staff, students, and families
Typical Responsibilities:
-
Conduct evaluations and assessments to identify students speech and language needs
-
Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) based on assessment results
-
Provide direct therapy services to students individually and in small groups
-
Monitor and document student progress toward IEP goals
-
Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families
-
Support staff with communication strategies and assistive technology when applicable
-
Maintain compliance with district, state, and federal documentation and service requirements
