Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing for an experienced Occupational Therapist (OT) to join a supportive school district in Seattle, Washington. This is a full-time, school-based contract position serving an elementary school caseload. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping students develop the skills necessary for academic and social success in the school environment.

Qualifications:

Masters Degree in Occupational Therapy

Active Washington OT license (or eligibility)

Must meet all local and state regulatory requirements

Experience with special education students and families highly preferred

Strong communication and collaboration skills
Typical Job Duties:
-
Evaluate students to determine functional needs in fine motor, sensory processing, and daily living skills

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans and strategies aligned with IEP goals
-
Provide direct and consultative occupational therapy services to students
-
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other service providers to support student success in the classroom
-
Participate in IEP meetings, provide progress updates, and document all services in compliance with district and state requirements
-
Recommend adaptive equipment or classroom modifications as needed to enhance student participation and independence
