An opportunity is available for a Speech Language Pathologist Assistant (SLPA) to support elementary and middle school students across multiple locations in the Cape Coral and Fort Myers, Florida area. This full-time, contract position runs from January 5, 2026, through June 1, 2026, offering a chance to make a meaningful impact in school-aged childrens communication development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language support to students within a caseload of 50-55.
- Collaborate with speech-language pathologists and educational staff to deliver tailored interventions.
- Monitor student progress and adjust support strategies accordingly.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of services provided.
- Adhere to state licensing requirements and school district policies.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Florida Department of Health SLPA license is required.
- Experience working with elementary and middle school students preferred.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to manage a varied caseload across multiple school sites.
Locations:
- Veterans Park Academy for the Arts PreK-8 (5 days per week)
- Harns Marsh Elementary (2 days per week) paired with Mirror Lakes Elementary (2 days per week)
- Oak Hammock Middle (4 days per week) paired with Estero High School (1 day per week)
