Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct occupational therapy services to elementary school students, addressing fine motor skills, sensory processing, and daily living activities in alignment with individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement intervention strategies.
- Conduct assessments and maintain accurate documentation to monitor student progress.
- Support inclusive classroom environments by adapting activities and recommending assistive technology as needed.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience:
- Licensed Occupational Therapist with state authorization to practice.
- Experience delivering occupational therapy services in school settings, particularly elementary education.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills to effectively engage with students, families, and educational staff.
- Knowledge of educational regulations and best practices relevant to school-based therapy.
