Occupational Therapist Job Duties

Evaluate and assess students fine motor, sensory, and self-care skills

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans aligned with IEP goals

Provide direct and consultative OT services to support classroom participation and success

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary team members

Maintain thorough and timely documentation of student progress and services provided
Federal and State Requirements

Masters degree or higher in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program

Active Maryland Occupational Therapy License required

NBCOT certification preferred

Prior experience in a school-based setting strongly preferred

Excellent communication and organizational skills
