Blazer Jobs is actively interviewing experienced BCBAs and School Social Workers (SSWs) for a full-time, school-based position with districts in the Issaquah, WA area. This role is ideal for professionals with strong behavioral expertise who are committed to supporting students through comprehensive evaluations, interventions, and collaborative teamwork.
Position Details:

Schedule: Full-Time (35 hours per week, MondayFriday, 8:00 AM3:30 PM)
Setting: Onsite Only

Caseload Overview:
K12 itinerant caseload across district schools
Provide evaluations, observations, direct interventions, and small-group support
Participate in IEP meetings and ongoing multidisciplinary planning
District operates a paired model, where SSWs and BCBAs work together as assigned teams
The selected candidate will be paired with the complementary discipline
A strong candidate may be offered a position for the remainder of the school year
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct student evaluations and functional assessments aligned with district standards
Provide behavioral interventions, socialemotional supports, and crisis-response strategies
Lead or participate in group sessions focused on student development and SEL competencies
Collaborate with teachers, psychologists, administrators, and related service providers
Monitor student progress and adjust interventions based on data and observation
Document services, assessments, and progress notes in accordance with district expectations
Contribute to IEP development and participate in all required meetings
Support students across multiple schools as part of an itinerant services model
Requirements:
Active Washington State License/Certificate in your discipline:
BCBA: Active Board Certification + WA State ESA School Psych or Behavior Analyst Credential (as applicable)
School Social Worker: Active WA ESA Certification in School Social Work
Masters Degree in ABA, Social Work, Psychology, Education, or related field
Must have significant behavior experience to support the paired behavioral services model
Experience providing school-based or K12 behavioral services preferred
Strong communication, collaboration, and case documentation skills
Must pass all required background checks and state/district clearances prior to start date
