A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available at an elementary school in Warren, MI, supporting a caseload primarily consisting of students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This contract role runs from ASAP through June 11, 2026, with onsite work required three days per week, totaling 22 hours.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech and language therapy to approximately 25 elementary students within an ASD setting
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with educational staff and families
- Conduct ongoing assessments and progress tracking to tailor therapy interventions
- Maintain clear documentation and communication regarding student progress and therapy outcomes
- Participate in school meetings and support interdisciplinary collaboration to enhance student development
Qualifications:
- Active Speech-Language Pathology license with full Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in school-based settings
- Ability to manage caseload effectively and work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
- Strong communication and organizational skills
