This part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is based onsite at an elementary school in Sterling Heights, MI. The role involves providing speech therapy services within an ASD (Autism Spectrum Disorder) setting, supporting approximately 25 elementary students. The position is a contract role for the current school year, with an estimated schedule of 22 hours per week spread across three days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to elementary students with ASD.
- Conduct assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to enhance students' communication skills.
- Monitor and document student progress regularly.
Qualifications:
- Active SLP license with full Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC).
- Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in ASD settings.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work onsite three days per week as scheduled.
