This full-time temporary speech-language pathologist (SLP) position offers an exciting opportunity to support K-12 students during a maternity leave assignment from January 5th to March 27th, 2026, in the Seattle, WA area. The role is based at an elementary school serving a caseload of approximately 27 students and includes participation on the early childhood Child Find team. This in-person position requires a Washington state SLP license and Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive speech-language pathology services to K-12 students with communication disorders.
- Manage a caseload focused at the elementary level, delivering individualized therapy plans.
- Collaborate with the Child Find early childhood team to identify and support young learners in need of services.
- Work closely with educators, families, and support staff to facilitate student progress.
- Maintain accurate documentation and comply with district and state regulations.
Qualifications:
- Valid Washington state SLP license.
- Current Educational Staff Associate (ESA) certification.
- Experience working in a school-based setting preferred.
- Strong assessment and intervention skills across a range of speech and language disorders.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to student-centered support and professional ethical standards.
