A full-time Occupational Therapist position is available within a K-8 educational setting located in Metairie, LA. This contract role spans the current school year, offering the opportunity to provide therapeutic services to a diverse caseload of PreK through 8th-grade students. The position requires an Occupational Therapist licensed to practice and is ideal for candidates experienced in school-based therapy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized occupational therapy services to students from PreK through 8th grade.
- Manage a high caseload with services tailored to student needs in collaboration with educational staff.
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and document student progress aligned with school and state guidelines.
- Participate in team meetings, parent consultations, and contribute to Individualized Education Program (IEP) development.
