Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This position offers an opportunity to provide speech-language pathology services within a K-8 school setting in Metairie, LA. The role is a contract position for the current school year, focusing on supporting students from PreK through 8th grade.
Key Qualifications and Experience:
- Certification in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP), with a valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) preferred
- Experience delivering SLP services in school settings, particularly within K-12 environments
- Ability to manage a caseload of approximately 50-60 students, addressing diverse communication needs
- Open to candidates holding a Clinical Fellowship (CF) status
Location and Schedule:
- Onsite position based in Metairie, LA
- Full-time hours, approximately 37.5 hours per week
- Position available immediately and continues through May 21, 2026
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, develop treatment plans, and provide therapy to students with speech and language impairments
- Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and inclusion
- Maintain detailed documentation and reporting to comply with district and state regulations
