This opportunity offers a full-time Occupational Therapist position to support students from PreK through 8th grade in a K-12 school setting located in Marrero, LA. The role is scheduled as a contract position through the current school year, ending May 16, 2025. You will work onsite, providing essential OT services designed to enhance the educational experience and support student development within a robust caseload environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students ranging PreK-8th grade.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other professionals to create and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Evaluate and monitor students' progress, adjusting plans as needed.
- Maintain thorough documentation and comply with all regulatory and professional standards.
- Manage a high caseload with attention to quality and timely interventions.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Valid and current Occupational Therapy licensure.
- Experience working in school-based settings preferred.
