Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
This full-semester contract position offers an exciting opportunity to work within a K-12 school setting in Lawrenceville, GA, delivering essential therapy and educational services. The role supports a diverse student population, providing specialized interventions tailored to students' individual needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled speech-language pathology (SLP) services to students
- Support and collaborate with special education teachers and school psychologists
- Implement occupational therapy (OT) and physical therapy (PT) interventions within the school environment
- Assist licensed therapists as an SLPA in school-based settings
- Develop and adapt individualized education plans (IEPs) to promote student progress
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to address students academic and developmental goals
Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification and/or licensure in one or more of the following: SLP (CCC), SLPA, special education teaching, OT (school-based), PT (school-based), or school psychology
- Experience supporting students in educational or clinical settings
- Strong knowledge of K-12 therapy and special education procedures
- Effective communication and teamwork skills within school-based multidisciplinary teams
