Providing Speech-Language Pathology services in a dynamic K-12 school setting, this role focuses on supporting students across multiple campuses within Fort Pierce and Port St. Lucie, FL. The position offers both full-time and part-time opportunities with assignments typically centered at one school but may vary. Service settings include middle schools, K-8 schools, and private school evaluation teams, accommodating a diverse student population including those in specialized units.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized speech-language therapy to students from kindergarten through 12th grade.
- Collaborate with educators and support staff to develop and implement effective intervention plans.
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations, particularly for private school students as part of the evaluation team.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with all district and state licensure requirements.
- Provide services in settings with limited onsite SLP support, ensuring quality care in units such as Inclusive/Deaf and Hard of Hearing clusters.
Desired Qualifications:
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathologist licensure.
- Experience working with school-aged children in K-12 settings.
