A school-based Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available within a K-12 educational setting located in Port Saint Lucie, FL, serving the Southeast Florida Coast region. This role offers both full-time and part-time contract opportunities for the current school year, with assignments primarily at one campus but variable based on need.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language services to students across multiple campuses, including Dan McCarty Middle School, Forest Grove Middle School, Oak Hammock K-8, and the Private School Evaluation Team.
- Manage caseloads involving diverse age groups from elementary through middle school levels.
- Conduct evaluations, particularly within the Private School Evaluation Team requiring a CCC-SLP credential.
- Work independently at assigned schools, with some assignments involving no other SLP onsite on certain days.
- Collaborate with educational staff, including supporting populations such as an InD unit or DHH cluster, ensuring appropriate interventions to meet IEP goals.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
- Experience working with school-age children in K-12 settings is preferred.
- CCC-SLP certification required for evaluation duties.
- Strong organizational skills to manage variable schedules and caseloads across different schools.
- Ability to work full- or part-time as available, with flexibility to cover specified days at different locations.

Contract Duration:
- January 5, 2026, through June 2, 2026, with some evaluation duties available through May 29, 2025.
