Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available to support K-12 students across various school assignments within Southeast Florida Coast. This contract opportunity, starting January 5, 2026, through June 2, 2026, offers both full-time and part-time schedules with caseloads primarily focused in middle and K-8 schools, including specialized settings such as Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) cluster sites and private school evaluation teams.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide speech-language therapy services to students across one or more campuses, including Dan McCarty Middle School, Forest Grove Middle School, and Oak Hammock K-8.
- Conduct evaluations as part of the private school evaluation team, requiring a Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (CCC-SLP).
- Collaborate with other educational and support staff to develop and implement individualized therapy plans.
- Manage caseloads that include a range of speech and language disorders in students from K-12.
- Maintain compliance with all licensing and district requirements.
Qualifications:
- Active Florida Speech-Language Pathology (SLP) licensure.
- Experience working in school settings, preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently, particularly when no other SLP is onsite.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- CCC-SLP required for evaluation duties.
