We are seeking a dedicated School Social Worker (Pupil Appraisal Social Worker) to join our team in the New Orleans, Louisiana area for an immediate start through May 22, 2026. This full-time position offers 35 hours per week with a 7-hour work day including a 30-minute lunch break. Please note that we are not open to part-time arrangements for this role. Your caseload will focus on pupil appraisal social work services supporting students across the district. We offer exceptional compensation starting at $45+ per hour and up based on experience.

Requirements & Qualifications
- Active Louisiana Department of Education (DOE) Certificate
- Active Professional License for Social Work
- Experience in pupil appraisal social work or school-based social work
- Knowledge of student assessment and evaluation processes
- Strong understanding of special education laws and procedures
- Experience with IEP development and implementation
- Excellent documentation and report writing skills
- Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with students, families, and educational teams
- Commitment to full-time employment (35 hours per week) - part-time not available
