Physical Therapist (PT) Job Duties

Evaluate and assess students physical therapy needs to enhance academic participation and access

Develop and implement individualized therapy programs and interventions

Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other school staff to support student success

Maintain accurate records and documentation in accordance with district and state policies

Provide direct and consultative services to help students achieve functional mobility goals

Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations
Federal and State Requirements

Masters or Doctoral degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program

Active North Carolina Physical Therapy license (or eligibility to obtain prior to start date)

Experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills

Must pass district background and fingerprinting requirements
