School-Based Occupational Therapist
Location: Durham, NC
Compensation: $38$43 per hour, based on experience
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Occupational Therapist to provide school-based services for students in Durham, NC. This role focuses on supporting students educational goals by helping them develop the skills necessary for success in the classroom and school environment.
Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations for students referred for occupational therapy services

Develop and implement individualized education program (IEP) goals related to occupational therapy

Provide direct and consultative OT services to students in a school setting

Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and families to support student success

Maintain accurate and timely documentation in accordance with school district and state guidelines

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the development of comprehensive support plans
Requirements:

Valid Occupational Therapy license in the state of North Carolina

Certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT)

Experience working in school settings preferred, but new grads are welcome to apply
