Position Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated and qualified Speech-Language Pathologist to join a dynamic school district team in New Orleans, LA, for the 20252026 academic year. The SLP will provide direct and consultative services to students in grades K12, conduct assessments, develop individualized treatment plans, and collaborate with educators and families to support student communication and academic success.
Responsibilities:

Conduct evaluations and re-evaluations in accordance with federal and state guidelines

Develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) based on student needs

Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students in individual and group settings
-
Collaborate with teachers, school psychologists, and other team members to support student learning

Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with school and legal requirements

Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to student support planning

Utilize evidence-based practices and up-to-date therapy materials and tools

Monitor student progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed
Qualifications:

Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program

Active Louisiana SLP license or eligibility for licensure

Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred; CFs may be considered with supervision available

Previous school-based or pediatric experience is strongly preferred

Strong communication, organizational, and collaboration skills

Ability to work effectively with diverse student populations and multidisciplinary teams
