Position Overview:
We are seeking a licensed and experienced School Psychologist to join our educational team for the 20252026 school year in New Orleans, LA. This position serves K12 students across multiple schools, providing comprehensive psychological services to support student learning, behavior, and mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations in compliance with state and federal regulations
- Interpret assessment results and provide recommendations for academic and behavioral interventions
- Participate in IEP and eligibility meetings as a key member of the multidisciplinary team
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support students' academic and emotional needs
- Provide crisis intervention and consultative services as needed
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of all services and evaluations
Qualifications: - Masters or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Valid Louisiana School Psychologist certification or eligibility to obtain
- Experience working in K12 school settings
- Strong knowledge of special education law, MTSS/RTI processes, and behavioral intervention strategies
- Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams
