A contract opportunity is available for a Speech-Language Pathologist specializing in teletherapy, supporting K-12 students in a school setting within the Gretna, LA area. This role spans the current school year with full-time hours, including a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Key responsibilities include delivering teletherapy services to students as part of the speech-language program. Caseload specifics and school assignments will be determined. Collaboration with educational staff to develop and implement individualized treatment plans is essential, alongside maintaining accurate documentation and progress reports.
Qualifications and experience desired for this role include:
- Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders.
- Active professional licensure in Louisiana and full licensure in the candidates residence state.
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) by the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association (ASHA).
- Minimum of three years experience working within Louisiana schools.
- Proven experience in teletherapy service delivery.
- Successful completion of a technology screening.
- At least one professional reference available.
- Compliance with all prescreening processes prior to district presentation.
