Bachelor's or Master's degree in School Psychology, active School Psychologist license and minimum 1+ years School Psychologist experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
Located in New Orleans, LA, this full-time contract position offers an opportunity to provide specialized psychological services within a K-12 school setting through telehealth. The contract spans from ASAP until May 22, 2026, with approximately 35 hours per week, structured as seven-hour workdays plus a 30-minute unpaid lunch break.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological assessments and interventions via teletherapy to support student mental health and academic achievement.
- Collaborate virtually with educators, administrators, and families to develop individualized plans tailored to student needs.
- Maintain accurate documentation and ensure compliance with applicable regulations and district policies.
- Contribute to creating a supportive school environment promoting student well-being.
Qualifications and Experience:
- Active Louisiana Department of Education certification.
- Full licensure in Louisiana, as well as licensure in the candidate's residing state.
- Minimum of three years of experience working in school settings within Louisiana.
- Proven expertise in teletherapy delivery.
- Successful completion of a technical screening process.
- At least one professional reference documented.
- Commitment to thorough and timely candidate presentation, including adherence to required documentation and screening protocols.
This role requires candidates to meet all qualifications and pass a comprehensive prescreening process prior to district presentation, with interviews expected to commence in early to mid-December.
