Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.
A full-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) position is available for the upcoming school year, serving students from kindergarten through 12th grade in a dynamic K-12 school setting located in Madison, AL. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Certification as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a valid state license
- Experience working as an SLP in a school setting, preferably with K-12 students
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of speech and language disorders, assessment methods, and therapeutic interventions
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech and language evaluations and screenings to identify student needs
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to improve student communication skills
- Support students with a variety of speech, language, and articulation disorders
- Maintain accurate documentation and progress reports in compliance with school and regulatory standards
- Consult with educators and families to foster supportive environments for student growth
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities
